Our client in Washington, MI, had a gorgeous property and wanted us to enhance their outdoor living space. For this project, we built a patio and fire pit made with high-quality materials. Our crew also added a boulder border along the patio to separate it from the pool area. Then, we installed outdoor steps made from stone slabs on the side of the house that led to the backyard area. After that, we installed landscape beds around the house and filled them with various plants and flowers for a touch of color and some visual interest. The final step we did for this project was to add landscape lighting in the landscape beds to highlight the plants at night.

The project started with a patio, fire pit, and boulder border installation.

Our first step for this project was to build a patio and a fire pit for our client. They have a large space outside their home waiting to be used, and we created the foundation for their outdoor living area with a paver patio. Using pavers gave their patio a beautiful look that was the perfect place for their new fire pit. Then, we installed a rectangular fire pit that we placed near the edge of the patio for better utilization of space.

We also installed a boulder border along the edge of the patio near where we placed the fire pit to separate it from their pool area. This boulder border defined the distinct spaces in the outdoor space and created a nice visual break between the two outdoor features.

We offer custom-designed fire pits but can also use pre-designed kits!

Our team installed outdoor steps made from stone slabs.

Outdoor steps in Washington, MI, with green shrubs and small boulders.

After tackling the patio, fire pit, and boulder border, the next thing we did was install outdoor steps along the side of the house. The outdoor space at the back of the property sits on slightly lower ground, and the outdoor steps made it easier and safer to get to their backyard oasis. These outdoor steps are made from stone slabs with a few small boulders along the side that add a nice contrast to the charming, little plants along the way.

Our next step was to add landscape beds around the front and back yards.

Once we finished constructing the outdoor living features, our next step was to add some natural elements by installing landscape beds around the front and back yards. For the backyard, we installed landscape beds along the edge of the property and around the house itself. We also added landscape beds in front of the house as well as in the middle of their front lawn. These landscape beds were filled with a variety of plants to enhance their beauty.

The final step of this project was to add landscape lighting in their landscape beds.

The final step of this project was to install landscape lighting in their landscape beds. We used LED lights for this client's landscape lighting display because they last long and provide enough illumination to effectively showcase the new plants we added! They love the way their landscaping now stands out once the sun has set!
